January 2018 Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino Executive Board are pleased to have the opportunity to provide a Community Betterment Sponsorship in the amount of $1,000.00 to the Cops Against Cancer organization. It is our hope that these funds will enable Cops Against Cancer to provide quality services to the citizens of Polk County. Community Betterment Grants are funded from Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino profits. These grants provide another opportunity for the Board of Supervisors to return casino profits to our community.

As a result, Prairie Meadows has been able to give more than $1.64 billion back into the state of Iowa. With more than $710 million of that figure remaining right here in our community.

This donation has been specifically awarded for Prairie Meadows to be the first corporate sponsor for the 2018 Cops Against Cancer annual FIVE-0 BBQ Classic. This event is one of the main fundraising events specifically for our cancer cares program. These programs
